Brazil's Bonde do Role are a trio (one female vocalist and two dudes) that rock the Club Funk made possible by tons of synth samples, machine-made hand claps, and big drum machine beats. They most recently have been touring with the similarly dance-friendly Klaxons, and have been hooked up with a UK record deal courtesy of Domino (Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys).
Their high-energy shows will appeal to fans of M.I.A., Lily Allen, The Go! Team, and their compatriots CSS. But if you don't like clubs, dance music, or body movement of any kind, you might want to stay away from Bonde do Role. You'll just end up confused.
