Over the years, Kite's members Nicklas Stenemo and Christian Berg have done almost everything in the big book of "NO," working only within the EP-format. Kite has developed their own concepts and their own ideas while totally erasing the "way things used to be made."

Kite released their latest EP, VI, in the spring of 2015, which took their sound to a new level with darker and more harmonic sonic landscapes than their previous releases. The tracks on VI reach new heights, creating atmosphere and drama. Clash Magazine described the single "Up For Life" as, "Nine minutes of billowing, inspiring, breathtaking productions, this is pop music for outsiders."

After the release of VI, Kite has taken over Sweden with sold-out shows all over the country featuring massive light displays. Last fall, the band performed four larger-than-life shows at Naturhistoriska riksmuseet's IMAX-dome in Stockholm, using Sweden's largest screen as a backdrop.
