Rhode Island's Get Him Eat Him has been described as "a hybrid of The Wrens, Enon and Weezer." I don't know who described them as that (go journalism!), but it's definitely accurate... but you can also throw The Annivesary (the first album, before they freaked out) and The New Pornographers in there as well.
This is carefree sugar pop, chock full of catchy guitar and synth solos, and all the while sung by a guy with a good voice. You may have recently seen them with The Arcade Fire, The Walkmen and/or Constantines... just a few of high profile acts the band has toured with recently. Get Him Eat Him are an entirely lovable band whose upbeat music scoffs in the face of February's gray days.
