((Lying In States)) Band Profile and Upcoming Los Angeles Concerts - Oh My Rockness

Chicago's Lying in States play aggressively melodic post-rock with attitude and odd angularity. They've most recently released their raucous riffs for Flameshovel Records (Chin Up Chin Up, Make Believe, Bound Stems). The album is called Wildfire on the Lake and was recorded by Mike Lust (Lustre King, Tight Phantomz). If you like your indie bands to rock dirty guitar solos and vocal wails, then Lying in States is the band for you. They've recently been on tour with the mighty Appleseed Cast and Milemarker, and seem poised to make a cold Windy City splash.
