((The North Atlantic)) Band Profile and Upcoming Los Angeles Concerts - Oh My Rockness

Of course The North Atlantic are from San Diego. It totally makes sense. Their sound completely fits in with their old city neighbors Drive Like Jehu, Rocket From the Crypt and Hot Snakes. I mean, granted, they may not be as solid as any of those bands (who really is?). But give this up-and-coming band some time to blossom, as all the elements of potential awesomeness are within their reach. The trio plays punk that's mostly melodic and unabashedly guitar driven, so you can also throw in an At The Drive-In reference (even though they were from Texas) to get a grasp of what you're in for.
