I've wanted to get some aggression out lately, so it's timely that I discovered these dudes. Ultra Dolphins are a heavy hitting three-piece from Richmond, Virginia that play dissonant and spazzy punk that moves at the speed of FAST.
These guys are pretty low maintenance, as their musical needs are pretty simple: distortion in the bass, squealing guitars that won't hesitate to peel off on a mathy tangent mid-song, and drumming that is, well, just sick.
If you like Drive Like Jehu, Unwound, The Blood Brothers, and the early 90's hardcore scene, you will like Ultra Dolphins. Listen to them loud and it will keep you from going crazy.
