The Get Up Kids play three shows this week to celebrate their…. hang on let me find my notes…. oops, now I gotta find my glasses…... ah, there we are….. to celebrate their twentieth anniversary. Twenty years this band has been around? TWENTY. YEARS? Time, I don't know how you do the things you do but I'd like you to stop. Right now. I said stop, time!!!! Oh yeah, please now enjoy listening to my favorite Get Up Kids song. I've been listening to this one FOREVER.

#2 Craft Spells - The Echo (Oh My Rockness Presents) - Wednesday - September 9 - 2015 A.D.

Did you know we're presenting both Craft Spells shows happening tonight at The Echo? It's totally true. The reason we are presenting both shows (one early - one late), if you must know, is because Craft Spells fucking rule. Ask Captured Tracks if you don't believe me. They'll tell you. That chill shimmering jingle-jangle smooth pop flow, though.

#4 Wavves - Troubadour + The Observatory - Fri/Sat - September 11/12 - 2015 A.D.

Two chances (one for every V) to see Wavves play this week. Two chances to see opening band Twin Peaks too (one for each peak). Let's take advantage of our two chances to see two good bands. But if we somehow screw this up and miss out on our two chances, Wavves and Twin Peaks are also playing next week at Teregram because life is full of third chances.

#5 Destruction Unit - Teragram Ballroom - Sunday - September 13 - 2015 A.D.

This deafening Phoenix band will tear you shreds. Now doesn't going to see them sound like a good time? You bet. And how! PLEASE SIR MAY I HAVE ANOTHER.

Honorable Mention: The Church play The Roxy on Thursday and how good is this song? Hint: it's real good. (Be sure to wait for the sweet jingle-jangle at the 2:27 mark please, thx.)
