Let's talk about the dope shows happening this week.

Also, did you know Sunday is Valentine's Day? It's totally true. So make the most of that stupid holiday and go to a good show.

Check out The Rockness Guide to Valentine's Day at your earliest convenience.

I thank you.

#1 Andrew Bird - Teragram Ballroom - Tuesday - February 9 - 2016 A.D.

I'm like Andrew Bird I could fly awayyyyy.*

*please watch this video if you'd like to know the origins of that dumb Andrew Bird joke I always make

#2 Fleetwood Mac Fest - The Fonda Theatre - Tuesday/Wednesday - February 9/10 - 2016 A.D.

This two day tribute to Fleetwood Mac at The Fonda features Joanna Newsom, Cold War Kids, Sarah Silverman, Elvis Perkins, Perry Farrell, Mark Ronson and a bunch more peeps you've probably heard of.

#3 Built to Spill - The Echo - Thursday/Friday/Saturday - February 11/12/13 - 2016 A.D.

This band never ages. Since the very beginning they've always looked like a bunch of old guys.

See Built to Spill play three shows at The Echo this week.

God, I love this song so hard.

#4 Naughty by Nature - The Regent - Thursday - February 11 - 2016 A.D.

Naughty by Nature celebrate the 25th anniversary of their classic self-titled debut album. DAMN!

Speaking of songs I love so hard...

If you don't know this classic... it's not a shame... it's a PROBLEM.

#5 Albert Hammond Jr - The Roxy - Wednesday - February 10 - 2016 A.D.

This guy's a total Stroke.

Also, did you know Albert Hammond Jr.'s dad wrote this super solid Olympic DEEP CUT?

Other notable shows = Super Furry Animals at The Roxy + Jukebox the Ghost at The Regent + STRFKR at The Glass House + Hoodie Allen at The Observatory + Meat Wave at Bootleg + Howler at El Cid + Deafheaven at Hollywood Palladium + Flying Lotus at Teragram Ballroom

That's it! And it should be more than enough for you to find your way towards musical goodness.

Have fun out there!
