Here are 11 great shows you can / should see in LA this February.

Let's make some plans!

11 Great Shows To See in LA This Month

February 2017 A.D.

1. Run The Jewels play Shrine Expo Hall on Wednesday, February 1st.

Come for the beats.

Stay for the flow.

What more do you want?

It's Run the Jewels, yo.

(This show is sold the f*** out but you can still get tickets here.)

2. Austra plays El Rey Theatre on Thursday, February 9th.

Austra's music is on constant regular rotation here at Rockness HQ.

This is because Austra rules.

3. Valentine's Day Planned Parenthood Benefit at Teragram Ballroom on Tuesday, February 14th (tickets).

Ty Segall, Kevin Morby, King Tuff, Mikal Cronin, Shana Cleveland & more solid peeps are playing this big time benefit for Planned Parenthood.

Go see good artists / bands while supporting a great cause. ❤︎❤︎❤︎

(for more benefit shows see this list we made)

4. Chad Valley plays The Echo on Friday, February 17th (tickets).

Oh My Rockness has loved Chad Valley since 2011 A.D.

OMR OG CV FAN FOREVA.

Please get pumped for this solid show by blasting one of the best synth pop songs of all time -- seriously.

5. Cloud Nothings play Teragram Ballroom on Wednesday, February 22nd (tickets).

Have you heard the new Cloud Nothings album yet?

You should listen to it right now. Immediately. At once. It rules.

See this forever dope band play so one day you can impress someone by saying you did.

6. Hazel English plays Bootleg Theater on Wednesday, February 22nd (tickets).

Hazel English rules.

RIYL: Wild Nothing, Day Wave

If you miss this rising up-and-coming chill pop future star at Bootleg Theater you can see her at The Wayfarer this month too.

Please now enjoy listening to one of my current favorite jams. So good!

7. Oh My Rockness Presents 'The Hardest-Working LA Bands of 2016" at The Hi Hat on Friday, February 24th (tickets).

Did you read our Hardest-Working LA Bands of 2016 feature? It was really great, right?

Guess what? We've turned that digital delight into a real life show with our buds at The Hi Hat!

Jurassic Shark (#11), Moaning (#7), Janelane (#4) & Melted (#3) are playing!

COME HANG.

7. The Radio Dept. play The Fonda Theatre on Friday, February 24th (tickets).

This is the #4 most popular upcoming show on the entire blob.

You 'My Rockness' users have exceptional taste in saves.

Let's be friends!

8. American Football play The Theatre at Ace on Saturday, February 25th (tickets).

"Let's just forget

Everything said...

....ed....

....ed...."

(that was supposed to be the echo)

The legendary Champaign, IL emo band is touring again -- after all these years. Time to dust off that diary, yo.

BTW, American Football's brand new song made it onto our Top Songs of 2016 list so this show will be more than just looking back at the past.

9. PWR BTTM play Highland Park Ebell Club on Monday, February 27th (tickets).

Please note: PWR BTTM rules.

10. Jens Lekman plays Teragram Ballroom on Monday, February 27th (tickets).

This is my favorite Jens Lekman song.
