1. Coachella on April 14th / 15th / 16th / 21st / 22nd / 23rd (tickets)

Not familiar with this festival but I believe it's some type of rhythmic ceremonial ritual of sorts.

Regardless, it's pretty under-the-radar and could use all the press it can get.

And this local DIY music blob is here to save the day.

2. Mount Eerie plays Hollywood Forever on Tuesday, April 11th (tickets) and Wednesday, April 12th (tickets)

Phil Elverum is a songwriting legend.

See him play songs from his haunting & exquisite new album "A Crow Looked At Me" at Hollywood Forever.

Hearts are heavy.

3. Radiohead play Santa Barbara Bowl on Tuesday, April 11th

4. Of Montreal play Teragram Ballroom on Tuesday, April 11th (tickets)

Rumor has it this band is actually from Athens and that's in GEORGIA.

THEY PROBABLY DON'T EVEN SPEAK FRENCH-CANADIAN.

5. Thursday headlines The Wiltern on Tuesday, April 11th (tickets)

"Understanding In a Car Crash" is a pretty good song.

Despite the name, I hear this is a very tasteful show (although there may be hand claps).
