Lots of good shows in LA this week.

Let's get this ____ started.

20 Good Shows To See in LA This Week

June 19 - June 25 / 2017 A.D

1. Ron Gallo plays Troubadour on Tuesday, June 27th.

Ron Gallo and his band play rock and roll. That's just how Nashville do.

Here's what you need to know. This dude and his crew make dirty yelp-y thunderous good shit!

Think (someone who slays) meets (someone who shreds) meets (Ron Gallo) and you should be on the right track.

2. Day Wave at El Rey Theatre on Wednesday, June 28th.

Have you heard the new Day Wave album yet?

It rules.

This show will be 100% chill. So help me blob.

3. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds play The Theatre at Ace on Wednesday, June 28th / Greek Theatre on Thursday, June 29th.

Tickets to both of these shows are probably already sold-out because....Nick Cave.

(see: legend)

However, if you REALLY want to go you still might be able to make it happen.

Where there's a will - there's a pay.

4. Ex Eye plays The Echo on Wednesday, June 28th.

Ex Eye is the heaviest horn band in the world.

Best sax of your life.

5. Tacocat play a free show at MOCA on Thursday, June 29th.

6. Buzzcocks at The Roxy on Thursday, June 29th / Friday, June 30th.

The seminal British punks (born circa 1976 A.D.) are still out there tearing it up!

Buzzcocks released three albums in the '70s, three albums in the '90s and three albums in the new Willennium.

They sat out the '80s, basically. Probably not a bad call.

7. Junior Boys / How to Dress Well at Globe Theatre on Friday, June 30th.

Pitchfork is presenting this double good bill.

Best New Bill.

100.00.

8. Cat Power at The Observatory on Friday, June 30th.

CAT.

POWER.

FOREVA.

9. Tycho play The Greek Theatre on Saturday, July 1st.

Have you ever met someone who listened to Tycho and didn't like it?

Me neither.

Rounding Out The Top 20:

Dirty Penni Fest 2 at The Echo

Land of Talk at Hollywood Forever

Jacuzzi Boys at Zebulon

Meatbodies at Teragram Ballroom
