20 Good Shows To See in LA This Week!
October 24rd - October 30th / 2017 A.D.
I. Trashcan Sinatras at Largo on Tuesday, October 24th.
A massively underrated Scottish pop band from the '80s / '90s / '00s / '10s
Trashcan Sinatras > The Smiths
Please feel free to vehemently disagree with me in the comments section this blob has never had.
II. Yeah Yeah Yeahs at The Fonda Theatre on Wednesday, October 25th.
Oh hell yes yes yes!
But don't get too excited. This one sold-out super quick.
Hopefully this best band adds another show show show very soon soon soon.
III. Turnover at Troubadour on Wednesday, October 25th / Thursday, October 26th.
When I make my "Best Songs of 2017 A.D." list this jam is definitely going to be on it.
So chill!
IV. Iron and Wine at Immanuel Presbyterian on Thursday, October 26th.
If I'm ever on my death bed, I wouldn't mind this song being played.
Might as well go out listening to the very best.
V. The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die at The Echo on Friday, October 27th.
Speaking of death....
This band > dying
And it's not even close!
VI. Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival at Exposition Park on Saturday, October 28th.
Tyler, The Creator * Lana Del Rey * Justice * Solange * Migos * FIDLAR
These are just some of the peeps playing this good thing.
Not sure it's worth $208?
Fuck it dog, life's a risk.
VII. The Growlers Six at LA Waterfront on Saturday, October 28th / Sunday, October 29th.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs * Modest Mouse * Guided By Voices * The Butthole Surfers * Girl Talk * Rostam
And The Growlers (who named this sick festival after themselves -- it used to be called Beach Goth -- they should've kept brainstorming names maybe)
VIII. Slowdive at Wiltern on Sunday, October 29th.

X. Greta Van Fleet at Troubadour on Sunday, October 29th / Monday, October 30th.
There are some bands that sound like Led Zeppelin and there are other bands that sound like Led Zeppelin.
On rare occasions, however, there comes along another band that sounds like Led Zeppelin.
This is that band.
A new band that sound like Led Zeppelin.
Are you prepared to Led Zeppelin?
