Seapony plays a Rockness show at The Echo!

May 23, 2011
Seattle's Seapony are a girl/guy/guy trio that plays blissfully melodic lo-fi guitar jangle calling to mind bands like The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Dum Dum Girls, Cults, Tennis and Best Coast. SO very NOW.

Their songs are sunny and echo-y, slightly surf-y and definitely dream gaze-y. They are short, simple and sweet, and can pretty much be summed up as just downright "precious."

Think of Seapony as a fragile flower. You like it and admire its beauty, but can't get too rough with it. Because then the flower will get crushed and die along with all of your hopes and dreams and you'll realize every day is the same until that one day when the days are no more and then what do you have? You have fingers with dead flower stains.

Yeah, Seapony is just like that. But you know, happy and stuff.

Seapony plays The Echo, on Tuesday, May 31st.
