Deep breath now. OFF! is an exceptional L.A. punk band featuring singer Keith Morris of Circle Jerks & Black Flag, Dimitri Coats of Burning Brides, Steven McDonald of Redd Kross, and Mario Rubalcaba of Rocket From the Crypt & Hot Snakes. Holy whoa!

With a line-up featuring members from past legendary bands like these, do you really need a Rockness profile to tell you why you should run out and see these dudes do their thing? Well, I guess I should tell you more anyway. After all, that's what they don't pay me for.

OFF! plays short and fast punk songs full of riffs, vocal aggression, and super tight percussion. It's punk rock the way punk rock used to be in its glory days. There's no pretension. There's no gloss. And there're definitely not any extended electro synth solos. Just guitars, bass, and drums to rock you OFF.

If you are a punk rocker, or used to be one in your former life, this is a band that must be seen immediately. That line-up has a lot of legend to live up to. And the dudes definitely do it.
