The Troubadour is a fitting venue to see Ferraby Lionheart. - Oh My Rockness

Band We Like

The Troubadour is a fitting venue to see Ferraby Lionheart.

December 4, 2007
Ferraby Lionheart opens for Richard Hawley (of Pulp) on Thursday, December 13th, at the Troubadour. A fitting venue for him indeed.

He's not a wrestler or a porn star or a Scottish warrior, he's just a singer. Ferraby Lionheart is a folk-pop troubadour that plays songs that would be good to drink to when you're feeling happy, not melancholy.

For the most part, Lionheart rocks the catchy chords that make you feel good. Sure, he's got that requisite tortured troubadour song about someone being a million miles away, but mostly he's got the feel-good sound down.

He has an EP with a full-length undoubtedly in the pipeline. If you like Elvis Perkins, Langhorne Slim, and Jason Falkner, you'll like Ferraby Lionheart. In a few years, we can look forward to the millions of moms that will name their kids Ferraby.
