Band We Like: Jerry Paper

Brooklyn's Jerry Paper is the spiritual eccentro-pop project of existing human Lucas W. Nathan. He's currently spinning on a round rock in outer space. Just like you. Just like me. AND NONE OF US ARE FALLING OFF. It's a heady time to be alive. So let's sit back, get weird, and enjoy the strange and wonderful ride.

I'm not going to describe these sounds too much because that would be like trying to crack the code of another human's inner mind (the mind behind the mind behind the mind) but I can tell you that you're in for a journey if you'll only walk through the open door - the door right over there - the one with all the light radiating around it.

Jerry Paper has several releases available in streaming form for the consumption of your consciousness and you can dive right into those anytime you're ready for the journey. Most recently, JP released a ten song album called “Carousel." It's very strange and satisfying and reminds me that we're all riding on the carousel of time. I'll post it for you directly below these words in a minute after I source it from the force.

Jerry Paper has also recently played shows with Beach Fossils (click if you like reading five year old band profiles) + Frankie Cosmos + Elvis Depressedly + Sean Nicholas Savage + lots of other bands who are also spinning on a round rock in outer space and I thought it was worth mentioning that.

Here's “Carousel." Enjoy streaming. Life is a dream.
