London's The Big Pink play a free show at The Echo, something the band is doing there every Monday night in November. I would pay to go to this. I'm not going to. But I would. File Under: GOOD. It's a 4AD thing.
#2 Youth Lagoon - The Fonda Theatre - Tuesday - November 17 - 2015 A.D.
Youth Lagoon (the heartbreaking work of Boise's Trevor Powers who just might be a staggering genius) would like to play (mostly) sad songs for you at The Fonda. Let them please. It's a Fat Possum thing.
#3 No Age - The Echo - Wednesday - November 18 - 2015 A.D.
YES. Punk duo No Age play The Echo. They are one of the better bands to see live in game today. Bet. It's a Sub Pop thing.
#4 TWIABPAIANATD - The Roxy - Wednesday - November 18 - 2015 A.D.
The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die may have a super intense name but don't let that stop you from getting into this band's super solid emo punk pop. Please enjoy listening to one of my very favorite songs of 2015 now. It's a Topshelf Records thing.
#5 Alvvays - Echoplex - Thursday - November 19 - 2015 A.D.
Speaking of one of my favorite songs of 2015, please enjoy one of my favorite songs of 2014 courtesy of Toronto's Alvvays. It still holds up. (I still listen to this song like five times a week or something). It's a Polyvinyl thing.
Honorable Mention: Fartbarf - Echoplex - Friday - November 20 - 2015 A.D.
Because with a name like Fartbarf it's gotta be good! It's a Fartbarf thing.
